Nestled among the trees on the south side of Big Pocono Mountain (aka Camelback Mountain), members and visitors of Pocono Evangelical Free Church enjoy the beauty painted by God’s hand as they join in fellowship and worship. The congregation is small enough to know each other by name, yet large enough to include members from all ages and walks of life. Pocono Evangelical Free Church has been meeting in the Tannersville area since it began in January of 1996 and has been in its present location on 4 1/2 wooded acres since 1999.
Weekly services are held Sunday mornings at 11 AM with time for fellowship before and after. Visitors will find themselves very welcome, with invitations to join in meals and small group gatherings scheduled throughout the week. You will find a healthy mix of long time and new-comer Christians, all looking to strengthen their faith and discover ways to live it out in their daily lives.
